Lady Cavaliers Sign Rhinehart On Wednesday, October 27th, the Montreat College Lady Cavaliers Softball program signed Alecia Rhinehart.   Rhinehart, an All State Catcher/Short-Stop out of Tuscola High School will be donning the Montreat colors come the 2010-2011 season. Alecia is daughter to Freda and James Robinson and James and Linda Rhinehart.   Alecia joins the Lady Cavs with a High School Batting Average of .412, 37 RBI’s (single season record), 5 Homerun (single season record), and .996 fielding percentage, bringing skill and consistency to the roster.   Alecia’s feelings on Montreat: "I am very excited to have been given the opportunity to play softball at the next level at Montreat. Montreat has a great atmosphere for both learning and playing sports. I can't wait to start the next chapter in my life at Montreat."   Coach Lee Swanson says, “Alecia is a vibrant and skillful player, she’s going to bring a lot to the team both offensively and defensively. She really fits right in with the character we are trying to portray as a team.”   Rhinehart is planning on majoring in Elementary Education here at Montreat.
